EVERYBODY LOVES A PARADE

D.C. Memorial Day parade along Constitution Ave. Beautiful day. A local told me D.C. hasn't seen consistent weather like this during the three-day memorial day weekend in 25 years. I assured him it was because I'm in town and that it would turn to crap when I leave.

Finally, Miss America

So, have you seen any of the museums?

Went to the Air Space Museum, Udvar-Hazy Center where larger aircraft and aviation and space artifacts are displayed, Museum of African Art, Hirshhorn Museum, Museum of the American Indian, and the Holocaust Museum. An all day affair at most of the museums. The Holocaust and Air Space Museums were extremely crowded.

We were given one day in DC to visite the Museum complex "on our own". No Way. I skimmed through two (the one with the Hope diamond - Natural History? and the one with the wax figures of the presidents wives). Too fast. Can't remember much else. Feet hurt after that.
