The 2008 Olympic opening ceremonies in Beijing was without a doubt one of the most impressive staged events I've seen on television. Classy doesn't even begin to describe it, and China's 1.3 billion population has got to be proud. I'm envious for not being able to be there in person.

If you had been there you would not have been able to see the digitally enhanced fireworks. How about the lip sync performer?
I don't think they are enhancing Phelps's wins, tho.
