The person named on this business card has been working for the company a long time, and after all this time, she finally got a business card. I remember how excited I was when I received my first business card, and I believe Idalia was excited as well. When she showed it to me, the letters in parenthesis jumped out at me and I read it as (PMS). I took some time and lots of laughing between us to get my head around the fact that it really read (PMD). I don't know why I would ever think Idalia suffered from PMS, since she is always happy and always has a bright smile on her face. Besides, she's probably too old to experience PMS but is really lucky because she does not look a day over 80. 
I'm going to say that the current state of economic affairs was the cause for me being in a bar late last night swillin' down the booze. At some point while there, I came to realize that I was the oldest guy in the place amongst everyone else who didn't look a day over 25. What a BITCH! To make matters worse, the waitress kept calling me "Sir." Makes me wonder what the person sitting across from me was thinking.
To make matters worse, the elderly female tenant was standing close by and watching my every move. Hard to be cool while 120volts is coursing through your body, and because I was jumping around like a fish out of water, it didn't take long for the woman to figure out what was happening. Unexpectedly, her immediate response was to laugh. In fact, she thought it was friggin' hilarious. I'll fix you, you ol' biddy. Get ready for a surprise the next time you flip on this switch.

While sitting at a stop light, my truck is suddenly struck by the vehicle behind me. Not very hard, but enough to wake me from the normal stupor I'm in while traveling in gridlock traffic. I jump out and meet the driver of the other vehicle, a kid who looked to be about 18, at my rear bumper. I'm sayin'
and he's sayin' "Is there any damage?" I check the bumper and didn't see any significant damage, so I said, "No, there doesn't seem to be any damage." The kid looks relieved. I then start jumping around and immediately grab the back of my neck with both hands and tell the kid again that I didn't see any damage to the truck, but my neck sure is hurting like hell. The kid's eyes almost bulged out of his head
and I thought he was going to have a coronary on the spot. I said, "JUST KIDDING" and immediately got back in my truck and started to drive off. I could see him in the rear view mirror standing there with the
Back during 1955 while traveling through Alabama, I remember not being served at a restaurant because I sat down in the "colored section." I didn't agree with the segregation principle, put up a fuss and was promptly shown the door. In those days, no one would have thought it possible to ever have a black man for a president, but since then, attitudes for many have changed. Too bad the change hasn't embraced everyone in America.

Like Washington saying to his dad about chopping down the mango tree, "I cannot tell a lie," I too cannot tell a lie. It was the guy several houses down the street that was the cause of this.

My Filipino neighbor across the street got a black dog several days ago. He said it was for his kids. Sounded reasonable until I asked him what he had named the dog. His reply, “DINNER.”
